The History of Redi Haul Trailers
Redi Haul Trailers, Inc. was founded in 1969 by Clayton Leach. Previously known as Fairmont Steel Products, Inc. Fairmont Steel Products manufactured aircraft tow bars, concrete forms, tractor cabs, and job shop metal fabrication.
In 1973, the company entered the agricultural market, making a Gooseneck Grain Trailer under the trade name of Redi Haul. This was their main product until 1978 when they expanded into trailers, launching Skidsteer Loader Trailers, now known as Equipment Transport Trailers.
In the late 1970s, Redi Haul broadened its trailer line, gaining renown across the trailer industry. They built small utility trailers for rental markets, catering to both national chains and independent stores. Responding to increased demand for top-notch trailers, they focused on establishing dealerships in the Midwest.
In 2024, two brothers, Kyle and Kysten Zierke, bought the company and have continued to grow the legacy. The Zierke brothers are driven to steer the Redi Haul into a new era, combining the studies of the past with a forward-thinking approach.
The Midwest remains Redi Haul’s core market but the company now has a presence in all 50 states manufacturing over 100 different trailer models
